Fatherhood Education Empowerment and Development (FEED) Program

The Fatherhood Education Empowerment and Development (FEED) Program is designed to support fathers' involvement in the lives of their children.

FEED Offers:

    • Support Services - Comprehensive case management and links to employment, housing, and other resources that are crucial to empowering fathers to care for their children.

    • Learning Opportunities – FEED offers a 12-week Quenching the Father's Thirst training program for fathers interested in forming closer and more meaningful connections with their children.

    • Leadership Opportunities – FEED offers two ways to become role models in the community; (1) limited paid internships and; (2) volunteer experiences through Watch D.O.G.S. (Dads Of Great Students), a national program focused on the prevention of school violence by using the positive influence of fathers and father-figures.

    • Social Service Agency Training Opportunities – FEED recognizes that social service agencies across the country focus almost exclusively on mothers and their children. Unfortunately, fathers are often left out of the equation.  We provide city-wide trainings through a curriculum developed by the National Family Preservation Network to social service providers and organizations wishing to enhance their father-friendly practices.
